2014 General Tire Mint 400, Presented by Polaris RZR
C2 short recap, FULL recap coming soon!
The dust has settled on another glorious Best in the Desert race, and this year’s Mint 400 was one for the record books! With a record number of entires, including a whopping 57 trick trucks (trophy trucks), the field was stacked. In the end, Andy McMillin drove his Corona Extra trick truck to the overall victory by a healthy margin. Tavo Vildosola would end up taking second place, making his 2014 season continue in excellent fashion in both BITD and SCORE. Dan McMillin would round out the podium, meaning the McMmillin family enjoyed a fantastic race with two trucks on the box!
In incredible fashion, Travis Pastrana defied all odds and came home with a 4th place finish in his first ever trophy truck race! What an incredible athlete, and Travis is so thankful for the opportunity to race in the desert, making his finish even more special for he and his fans. We can’t wait to see him out there again soon!
